Hokkaido man's diary depicting WWII air raid
Kenji Eguchi, a stationery store owner in Hokkaido Prefecture's Asahikawa, shows a page of his diary with drawings depicting the July 15 air raid of the northern Japan city in 1945 during World War II in an interview in October 2014, in Asahikawa. Eguchi, who was instructed to keep diary by his class teacher when he entered junior high school, has kept up with his daily routine for 70 years without skipping a single day since April 1, 1945.
