Abe aide apologizes for remarks on security bills
Yosuke Isozaki, a special adviser to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, prepares to leave the chamber of the upper house special committee on security bills in Tokyo on Aug. 3, 2015, after apologizing for remarks taken as downplaying the need for the bills being deliberated in the Diet to be consistent with the Constitution. Isozaki, however, declined to step down against the opposition demand to do so. (Kyodo)
