Tokyo Olympics logo designer withdraws designs for beverage campaign

Undated photo shows tote bags designed by 2020 Tokyo Olympics logo designer Kenjiro Sano to be handed out in a Suntory Beer Ltd. promotional campaign. The beer maker said on Aug. 13, 2015, that Sano, who has been accused of plagiarism in creating the Olympics logo, has withdrawn eight of his 30 tote bag designs after comments were made via the Internet claiming they "closely resemble" patterns that already exist.
