Momota becomes 1st Japanese man to medal at badminton worlds
Japan's Kento Momota hits a return against Wei Nan of Hong Kong in their quarterfinal match at the world badminton championships in Jakarta on Aug. 14, 2015. Momota won 21-6, 21-14 to reach the semifinals. Both losing semifinalists will receive bronze medals, making Momota the first Japanese man to medal in singles at a world championships. (Kyodo)
