2,000 people perform Bon dance in Osaka, breaking Guinness record
About 2,000 people in colorful "yukata" casual kimono join a "Bon" midsummer festival dance in the Dotonbori district of Osaka, western Japan, on Aug. 16, 2015, setting a Guinness record for the number of people performing the traditional Japanese Buddhist festival dance at the same time. The previous record of 1,932 dancers was marked in Motegi, Tochigi Prefecture, eastern Japan, in August 2001. (Kyodo)
