"Blue train" begins last round-trip

The Sapporo-bound Hokutosei express train with sleeping berths leaves Tokyo's JR Ueno Station on Aug. 21, 2015. Hokutosei's return trip from Sapporo to Ueno will put an end to more than half a century of the history of sleeper "blue trains." About 2,000 fans gathered at the train's platform.
