Cambodia's primary school grateful to late Japanese benefactor
Photo taken on June 9, 2015, shows a classroom of a Cambodian elementary school in the suburbs of Siem Reap, one of 10 schools in the Southeast Asian country constructed with financial help from Kenji Okamura, who perished in a major mudslide in Hiroshima, western Japan, in August last year. A portrait of Okamura is displayed in the classroom (on the upper left of the photo). Nine students of a junior high school in Cambodia, also built with financial aid from Okamura, sent letters of thanks to his younger brother recently. (Kyodo)
