Inspection over planned Fukushima waste disposal sites postponed
Environment Ministry officials on Aug. 28, 2015, leave the northeastern Japan town of Kami, where the government plans to build a disposal site for waste from the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant. The officials faced a local protest before starting the inspection there, and postponed it at three construction candidate sites, including Kami. (Kyodo)
