Protesters rally across Japan against controversial security bills
Leaders of Japan's opposition parties, including Democratic Party of Japan head Katsuya Okada and Japanese Communist Party chairman Kazuo Shii, attend at a rally in front of the Diet building in central Tokyo on Aug. 30, 2015, to call for the scrapping of controversial security legislation. Similar rallies were held at more than 200 locations across Japan the same day, attracting students, mothers and other protesters. (Kyodo)
