Student launches multilingual online petition against Japan's security bills
Nobuhiro Hishida, a second-year student at Keio University, shows during an interview in Tokyo on Sept. 4, 2015, a poster calling for support to his online petition opposing the Japanese government's national security bills aimed at expanding the Self-Defense Forces' overseas operations. With the campaign statement available in eight languages, Hishida plans to send signatures received from around the world to the prime minister's office and both houses of the Japanese parliament.
