Japanese 105-year-old Miyazaki sets world record in 100 meters
Hidekichi Miyazaki, 105, receives flowers from his 5-year-old great-granddaughter Yui Motoba, at an athletic field in Kyoto on Sept. 23, 2015, after running the 100 meters in a time of 42.22 seconds. Miyazaki, who celebrated his birthday the previous day, became the first person over 105 years old to set a record for 100 meters, which was recognized by Guinness World Records. (Kyodo)
