Tsunami in Chile reaches as high as 6 to 7 meters
Takashi Tomita (R), a senior official of Japan's Port and Airport Research Institute, ascertains on Sept. 22, 2015, the height of a tsunami caused by a powerful earthquake that struck off the coast of central Chile, in Coquimbo, Chile. He found it reached as high as 6 to 7 meters, higher than previously estimated, in the central Chilean port city. (Kyodo)
