Gov't effectively cuts economic assessment in September
Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda arrives at the prime minister's office in Tokyo on Sept. 25, 2015, for a ministerial meeting on a monthly economic report. In the latest report, the government effectively slashed its basic assessment of the Japanese economy amid sluggish private consumption, but avoided presenting its view on whether the pace of the recovery was decelerating or not.
