Police station partially reopens in Fukushima evacuation zone
A ceremony marks the partial resumption of operations at the Futaba Police Station in Tomioka, Fukushima Prefecture, on Oct. 1, 2015. It was closed after the northeastern Japanese town became an evacuation zone due to the 2011 nuclear accident at Tokyo Electric Power Co.'s Fukushima Daiichi plant. Several officers will patrol the streets and help evacuees visiting their homes. (Kyodo)
