Prosecution to demand punishment for ex-Sankei bureau chief
Tatsuya Kato, a former Seoul bureau chief of Japan's Sankei Shimbun, arrives at the Seoul Central District Court on Oct. 19, 2015, to hear the prosecution's demand for punishment against him. Kato has been accused of defaming South Korean President Park Geun Hye in an online article in which he referred to rumors she was meeting secretly with a former male aide during the Sewol ferry disaster in 2014 that killed more than 300 people.
