Japan, S. Korea discuss "comfort women" issue
Kimihiro Ishikane, director general of the Japanese Foreign Ministry's Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, arrives at the Foreign Ministry in Seoul on Nov. 11, 2015, to hold talks with his South Korean counterpart Lee Sang Deok. The talks are aimed at moving forward an agreement made by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and South Korean President Park Geun Hye the previous week to speed up talks to resolve the issue of so-called "comfort women."
