Japanese quake-hit city assists storm-ravaged Filipino fishermen
A fisherman in Tanauan on the typhoon-hit Philippine island of Leyte lifts a bunch of cultivated oysters on Oct. 28, 2015. Higashimatsushima city, a famous oyster-farming area in northeastern Japan, is assisting the Japan International Cooperation Agency in supporting Leyte's aquaculture industry with knowhow from its own recovery from the 2011 earthquake and tsunami devastation.
