U.N. approves "all necessary measures" to fight Islamic State
The U.N. Security Council in New York unanimously adopts a resolution Nov. 20, 2015, condemning terror attacks by Islamic State militants around the globe, including the deadly assault on Paris a week ago. The resolution, introduced by France, also urges member countries to take "all necessary measures" against the group in Syria and Iraq. (Kyodo)
