Single-season hit record holder Akiyama donates bat to museum
Shogo Akiyama of the Seibu Lions donates the bat he used to record his 215th hit of the season to the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Tokyo on Nov. 25, 2015. Akiyama finished with 216 hits, two more than the previous Japanese baseball single-season hit record Matt Murton set in 2010 with the Hanshin Tigers. (Kyodo)
