Row of cherry blossom trees replicated by LED bulbs
Photo taken Nov. 25, 2015, in the northeastern Japan city of Iwaki shows a row of trees with "cherry blossoms" created by 140,000 light-emitting diode bulbs. It was aimed to replicate a popular row of cherry trees in Tomioka town, many of whose residents have taken shelter in Iwaki since the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster. (Kyodo)
