2 opposition parties to form parliamentary group
Japan's main opposition Democratic Party of Japan leader Katsuya Okada (R) and Japan Innovation Party chief Yorihisa Matsuno meet at the Diet building in Tokyo on Dec. 7, 2015, after Matsuno was re-elected as head of the smaller opposition party the previous day. During the meeting, they agreed to form a parliamentary group to bolster cooperation in challenging the ruling Liberal Democratic Party led by Prime Minster Shinzo Abe. (Kyodo)
