Japanese, U.S. negotiators look back on TPP talks
Akira Amari, the Japanese minister for economic and fiscal policy, gives a lecture in Tokyo on Dec. 9, 2015, as he and a U.S. negotiator in the recently completed Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade talks, former Acting Deputy U.S. Trade Representative Wendy Cutler, looked back on the negotiations. Amari said the TPP agreement will give Japan a great opportunity for crafting a strategy for growth and that the country will release by the end of the year an estimate for its impact. (Kyodo)
