Drill with U.S. aircraft carrier held at Yokosuka base
Japan Coast Guard officers take part in a drill at a U.S. naval base in Yokosuka, southwest of Tokyo, on Dec. 16, 2015, simulating the discharge of cooling water containing a tiny amount of radioactive substances from the nuclear-powered U.S. aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan. It was the first time that the U.S. vessel, which has been deployed at the port since October, had been used for the joint drill. (Kyodo)
