Award-winning alpinist Taniguchi dies after going missing on snowy mountain

Photo taken in September 2001 shows Japanese alpinist Kei Taniguchi, the first woman to win the prestigious Piolet d'Or (Golden Ice Axe) mountaineering award in 2009.
