Fastest pesticide analyzing device developed
Photo taken November 2015 in the southwestern Japanese city of Miyazaki shows Takashi Ando, a senior official at Miyazaki Agricultural Research Institute, explaining newly developed analyzing equipment for detecting residual pesticides. The device analyzes around 500 types of residual pesticides in 50 minutes, the fastest in the world, and will allow farmers to examine the safety of their products quickly. (Kyodo)
