Preparation begins for Sapporo Snow Festival

Tons of snow is dumped by large trucks on Jan. 7, 2016, onto Odori Park in Sapporo, one of the venues of the Sapporo Snow Festival featuring more than 200 snow and ice sculptures, on the northernmost Japanese main island of Hokkaido.
