5 yrs since triple meltdowns at Fukushima Daiichi complex
Photo taken Feb. 15, 2016, shows a worker at the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant in northeastern Japan, wearing a mask over half his face. Workers are not required to wear full-face masks in most areas of the complex as radiation levels have declined. Tokyo Electric Power Co., the operator, is still working to contain a buildup of toxic water at the complex, which faced triple meltdowns almost five years ago. (Kyodo)
