Abnormal electric current may have caused nuclear reactor shutdown

Operators of Kansai Electric Power Co.'s Takahama nuclear plant on the Sea of Japan coast check what's happening on Feb. 29, 2016, following an emergency suspension of the No. 4 reactor. The utility said March 1 that the trouble may have been triggered by an abnormally strong electrical current. The start of the reactor's commercial operations will be delayed until April from the initially scheduled late March. (Kyodo) ==Kyodo
