Voting begins in New Zealand flag referendum
Photo taken in February 2016 shows the current New Zealand flag (R) and the proposed new design flying over a bridge in Auckland. New Zealanders began voting on March 3 on whether to adopt the new flag in a referendum which Prime Minister John Key has described as the last chance to change the flag unless New Zealand becomes a republic. The official result will be announced on March 30. (Kyodo)
