Japan, U.S. commemorate WWII war dead on Iwoto Island
A Japan-U.S. joint ceremony is held March 19, 2016, on Iwoto Island, previously known as Iwojima, in the Pacific to commemorate the 29,000 people who died in one of the fiercest battles of World War II.
