Mobile phones, SNS changes dating culture in Bhutan
Photo taken in February shows a man using a mobile phone in Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. The rapid spread of mobile phones and social networking sites such as Facebook has changed the way men and women date in the country, bringing the custom of men "sneaking a visit at night" to women's houses to an end. Bhutanese say men often risked being caught by their girlfriends' fathers who might throw a stone at them. (Kyodo)
