Fukushima district aims to become wine region

Volunteers plant chardonnay grape seedlings in the northeastern Japan village of Kawauchi, Fukushima Prefecture on April 3, 2016. A group of volunteers sees large potential from turning Fukushima's Hamadori coastal district, hit hard by the disaster at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant, into a wine region.
