Largest Japanese railway museum prepares for opening
Elementary school students touch the front car of the Raicho (Thunderbird), a limited express train operated between 1964 and 2011, at the Kyoto Railway Museum in the western Japanese city of Kyoto on April 15, 2016, ahead of its grand opening on April 29. The museum, run by the same operator, is one of the largest railway museums in Japan, showcasing a total of 53 trains ranging from the nation's oldest steam locomotive to recent shinkansen bullet train models.
