Imperial couple visits Japanese school in Rome
Prince Akishino (1st L), the younger son of Japanese Emperor Akihito, and his wife Princess Kiko (2nd L) visit the Scuola Giapponese di Roma, a Japanese international school, in Rome on May 16, 2016, on the final day of their eight-day trip to Italy. During their stay, the imperial couple attended a celebration of the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and paid a courtesy call on Pope Francis in Vatican City.
