Japan to tighten security for G-7 summit, Obama's visit to Hiroshima
Police officers are on the lookout for suspicious vehicles on May 18, 2016 near the entrance to Kashiko Island in the central Japan city of Shima, where a two-day Group of Seven summit will be held from May 26. The National Police Agency said May 19 it will dispatch up to 23,000 police officers to guard the summit venue, while deploying around 4,600 during U.S. President Barack Obama's planned visit to Hiroshima.
