Okinawa residents rally to protest crimes by U.S. military personnel
Thousands of residents carry signs saying "Marines, Withdraw" (center) and "Our anger has reached the limit," as they rally in Naha in Japan's southernmost island prefecture of Okinawa on June 19, 2016. The protesters voiced their anger about crimes committed by U.S. military personnel, while demanding a drastic review of how such incidents are handled, following the alleged murder of a 20-year-old local woman by a civilian U.S. base worker in May.
