Largest-ever reclining Buddha statue in Pakistan found
Photo taken June 9, 2016, in Khanpur in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa shows Buddhist ruins, where the remains of a reclining Buddha statue was found. The statue, estimated to be 14 meters long, is believed to have been created between the 3rd to 5th centuries A.D. and to be the largest-ever reclining statue excavated in the country. (Kyodo)
