SoftBank shareholders approve departure of Arora
A screen shows SoftBank Group Corp. Chief Executive Officer Masayoshi Son addressing a shareholders' meeting on June 22, 2016, in Tokyo. Son said while he does not want to become a "bottleneck" to future growth of the Japanese conglomerate, he intends to stay on for at least five more years. Shareholders approved the sudden departure of President Nikesh Arora, touted as Son's successor, amid differences over when the former Google Inc. executive would take over the leadership. (Kyodo)
