SoftBank shareholders approve departure of Arora
A screen shows SoftBank Group Corp. President Nikesh Arora addressing a shareholders' meeting on June 22, 2016, in Tokyo, after the Japanese conglomerate announced his resignation amid differences over when the former Google Inc. executive would take over the leadership from Chief Executive Officer Masayoshi Son. Arora expressed his support for Son's "passion and energy" to stay at the helm, saying, "This is a decision I respect and even support because he is too young in his heart and his mind to not continue to lead this great company."
