People queue for free tasting of extremely pricey grapes
People line up for a free sampling of Ruby Roman high-end table grapes in Amagasaki, western Japan on July 8, 2016. A local supermarket, which won the bidding for a 950-gram bunch of the grapes with a record-high bid of 1.1 million yen ($10,900) at an auction the previous day, offered all 31 grapes, costing 35,000 yen ($348) apiece, for free to the first 31 people who lined up.
