Beijing following int'l tribunal ruling over South China Sea
Police officers examine a car on a Beijing street leading to the Filipino embassy on July 13, 2016, a day after the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague ruled that China has no historic rights to resources in the South China Sea based on its expansive "nine-dash line" claim. The Philippines brought the case to the court in January 2013, after China seized control of Scarborough Shoal. (Kyodo)
