Trial over aging reactors starts

A group of people head to the Nagoya District Court on July 13, 2016, at the start of oral arguments over a lawsuit they filed. The plaintiffs seek to nullify a decision by the Nuclear Regulation Authority approving an additional 20 years of operation for two aging reactors -- Nos. 1 and 2 units of Kansai Electric Power Co.'s Takahama plant.
