Yamahoko parade during Gion Festival in Kyoto
People pull a huge decorated float as they turn it around a corner on a street in Kyoto on July 24, 2016, during the "Ato Matsuri," or latter half of the Yamahoko parade that is part of the city's traditional Gion Festival. The float, called "Ofune-hoko," has been featured in the parade since 2014 when it was revived for the first time in 150 years. (Kyodo)
