Kennedy offers flowers to victims of Nagaoka air raids
U.S. Ambassador to Japan Caroline Kennedy offers a wreath of flowers on Aug. 3, 2016, to commemorate victims of U.S. air raids on the northeastern Japanese city of Nagaoka during World War II. A total of 1,486 people were killed by the Aug. 1, 1945, attack. (Kyodo)
