Antiwar journalist Muno dies at 101
Undated photo shows Takeji Muno, a Japanese journalist and antiwar activist who quit major national newspaper the Asahi Shimbun on the day World War II ended out of regret that he had been unable to report the truth about the conflict and published his own paper in a small town in northeast Japan. Muno died on Aug. 21, 2016, at the age of 101. (Kyodo)
