Poison may have been injected into drip bags at Yokohama hospital

A notice is posted at the entrance of Oguchi Hospital in Yokohama on Sept. 27, 2016, saying the hospital will temporarily suspend outpatient consultations. Two male patients at the hospital, both 88, died of poisoning on Sept. 18 and 20. Police suspect that a surfactant compound may have been added to intravenous drips administered to them.
