Toxic chemicals found exceeding standards at new Tokyo market site
File photo taken in July shows Tokyo's Toyosu market area where the famous Tsukiji fish market is planned to be relocated. The Tokyo metropolitan government said on Sept. 29, 2016, that two toxic chemicals -- benzene and arsenic -- were detected at levels slightly above the government-set environmental standards in groundwater samples from the area.
