Combined photo shows a huge sinkhole on a major road near JR Hakata Station in the southwestern Japan city of Fukuoka on Nov. 8, 2016 (top), and the road reopening on Nov. 15 (bottom) after being filled with earth. The 30-meter-long, 27-meter-wide, 15-meter-deep hole is believed to have been caused by construction work on a subway extension line. (Kyodo)
