Supercomputer Fugaku in full operation to aid COVID-19 research?

KOBE, Japan Kyodo - Video taken March 9, 2021, shows the Riken Center for Computational Science in Kobe, western Japan. The Fugaku supercomputer, the world's fastest in terms of computing speed, went into full operation there the same day, earlier than initially scheduled, in the hope of being utilized for research related to the novel coronavirus.
