Casino bill passes Japan lower house, ruffles both sides of aisle
Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga takes a bow as a bill to legalize casino gambling in the country was passed by the lower house of parliament in Tokyo on Dec. 6, 2016, even as lawmakers from both ruling and opposition parties continued to express concern about the potential harmful effects on Japanese society.
